Fa’ la cosa giusta! is back in Milan in the halls of Fiera Milano CIty from 30 March to 1 April. It is a great opportunity to see a wide selection of ethical exhibitors ranging from cosmetics to apparel, from food to tourism. It’s pretty hard not to be tempted (; You can find all the information, catalog and costs on falacosagiusta.com. Among the most interesting things to see I suggest the stand by La Tilde, a girl reinventing with flair, genius and a really good taste trivial items such as ties and telephones till they become… I’ll let you find out! (:

Today I want to talk to you about a special place in Milan. It is a store called Tourbillón owned by Adriana Morandi. This woman collects all sorts of unique stuff, from clothes to accessories to home decor. I came across her place because I was looking for a piece by Giovanni Scafuro (I’ll tell you more about him very soon, I’m in love with his works) and I found this shop characterized by a mesmerising and avant-guard vision. I’ll tell you, if you go there looking for something unique you won’t come out empty handed. Continue reading
If you find yourself in Milan you cannot miss the chance to go to this lovely pastry boutique in the Brera area. The shop owners are mum and daughter and they prepare the greatest variety of desserts, from cakes (ahh, their Sacher torte…) to macarons and scones but most importantly.. Cupcakes! You’ve got to try them, they taste as good as they look, and they are simply gorgeous! Di Viole di Liquirizia is the perfect place for an afternoon break with friends before or after a nice walk, Brera is full of little beautiful shops. Their address is via Madonnina 10, and don’t forget to taste their tea as well (; Continue reading

Delicious food, great location – Westbourne Grove, just 5 minutes away from Notting Hill area and Portobello market – the nicest staff and a super cute shop selling home decor, retro items and little trinkets (especially coming from old childhood memories) you will hardly find elsewhere.
